Crow’s Nest

This project unfolds as a private sanctuary, a single-family residence meticulously crafted for a family of five. Nestled atop a dune on the enchanting Gulf of Mexico, along the picturesque stretch of the Emerald Coast known as 30-A, this 3,750 square foot home captures the essence of coastal living.

The architectural footprint consciously prioritizes communal spaces, fostering connectivity with family, friend and the natural beauty of the Gulf view that graces the property.

Designed with a keen focus on sustainability, the residence incorporates energy-efficient features. Low voltage lighting, dynamically adjusting throughout the day, complements the natural rhythms of time and date. Embracing renewable energy, solar panels adorn the roof, providing a consistent and eco-friendly power source year-round.

A notable design feature in this home is the implementation of a Thermomass wall system. This unique system forms a seamless thermal envelope at the perimeter walls.

In essence, this residence is a harmonious blend of thoughtful design, energy efficiency, and environmental consciousness, offering a haven where family life effortlessly blends with the beauty of its Gulf Coast setting.
